Call to Order

The Lodge Master called the meeting to order at 12:03 pm.

Opening Ceremony

Opened ritually by the Lodge Master.

The Minutes were read and approved.

• Deputy Master gave general status report.
• Secretary gave general status report.
• Treasurer had a proxy report:

  • The next Baptisms are set for Friday, September 15.
• Facilities
  • Lodge Cleaning is today at 2:30.
• Special Events
  • Minimum of three drummers when we want long ecstatic dancing. This enables the drummers to switch off and have breaks.
  • Drum circle / learning event was suggested and discussion was tabled.
• Feast Committee
  • July 15 – Rite of Venus preview, simple, 50-75
  • August 12, First Night of the Prophet and His Bride – Potluck (romantic food)
  • August 18 – Minervals, budget set
  • August 19 – 1st Degree, budget set
  • August 25/26 is IV/PIs, Help Sr. L.I.S.L. and Sr. Isabella with food at Sr. Isabella’s.

New Business

• Fr. Khabs Kaos brought up that the warehouse on the corner of Stark and 12th is for sale/lease.
• Fr. Mantis has volunteered to take the garbage and recyling out.
• The Open Hours person needs to bring the garbage can back in.
• Ecstatic Dance is canceled for the Summer.
• Upcoming Events:
  • First Night of the Prophet and His Bride (August 12)
    • Sr. L.I.S.L. is organizing, not Br. P.W.
    • Initiates and guests.
  • Autumn Equinox (September 22)
    • Br. P.W. is organizing, Sr. L.I.S.L. is directing.
    • Initiates and guests.
  • Fr. Mantis would like to do something small for Samhain. He will talk with Br. P.W. and Fr. HydraLVX.

Officer Transitions

• Fr. 210 has given his notice as Treasurer and wants to focus on his education and career in pursuit of his Will.
• Fr. IOI is taking over this work with Sr. L.I.S.L. as his assistant (doing bookkeeping). Once Fr. IOI is fully in that position (September) then the position will be listed as an opening.

Announcements

• Fr. Mantis is doing an ethnography on the Lodge and will be doing interviews, observing, etc.
• Tonight is Sr. MRTH's birthday party. BYOB. 8:00pm
