Jason Augustus Newcomb

From Sekhet-Maat Lodge

Jason Augustus Newcomb devoted his life to gaining and sharing an increased understanding of the Western Mystery Tradition, both how it relates to modern consciousness studies, and its relations with other forms of esoteric spirituality. He is the author of the books: 21st Century Mage, The New Hermetics, and Sexual Sorcery; and has produced an extensive series of audio CDs offering instruction in magical practice and hypnosis. (See also Jason's website at www.newhermetics.com for more information.)

Jason is a long-time initiate of Western Mystery Schools, both visible and invisible, and has explored magic and mysticism in its varied forms for the past twenty-two years (in this incarnation). He is well versed in Magical Qabala, Yoga Philosophy, Esoteric Astrology, Zen, Tibetan Buddhism, Kashmir Shaivism, Tarot, Geomancy, Hermetic Science, I Ching and Taoism, Christian Mysticism, Gnosticism, and other similar topics. He is also a licensed Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner and a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. In his many years exploring the spiritual realms, Jason has developed a set of unique consciousness-altering tools that allow him to facilitate vast changes in consciousness in his students, which help them activate higher states. Jason's goal is to participate in the evolution of humanity in whatever small way Divine Providence has ordained for him. He is devoted to helping people expand both personally and spiritually, seeing these as essentially in the same continuum. Jason now lives with his partner Jennifer and their one-year-old daughter Aurora in Sarasota, FL.

Join us Saturday, March 17, 2007 ev, where Jason will offer his perspective on Thelema as a panelist in the sixth annual Thelemic Symposium. Following the Symposium, Jason will be available for book signing at a reception. Click here to purchase tickets for this event.
