Current Status:
  • Four basic training module dates have been put on the calendar for June, July, September, and October, 2008 e.v.
  • To more effectively address needs of members needing to take the class, this schedule may change. I will be looking into this before July.--Misskim 20:16, 14 June 2008 (EDT)
  • Current dates for upcoming trainings for the year:
    • July 19 - Held with 7 attendees. --Misskim 14:00, 3 August 2008 (EDT)
    • Oct 18
      • Note: While this effectively achieves the goal for the year, the goal is NOT to hold four per year at any time, but rather one time per quarter. --Misskim 18:26, 3 July 2008 (EDT)
    • EGC Officer Basic training is currently redefined as a basic class for folks who are/are planning to be baptized and fulfill the office of Child in the mass. The class will cover basics of policy, how to sign up to help out with the mass, and a walk through for the office of Child, as well as provide basic modules for Deacons and Priest/Priestesses when needed.
  • Have made edits to outline of the class based on first instance – Jgbell 11:35, 4 September 2008 (GMT-8)
  • EGC Basic Training is scheduled to be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 before Baptisms and Confirmations. --Misskim 08:17, 1 October 2008 (PDT)

Assigned to: Sr. Aletheia Mnemonicas
Current Status:
  • Only 1 person responded to email soliciting dates in February, 2008 e.v. Have decided to schedule four classes for the year and make it mandatory that each person performing a role in the Mass attend one of these classes. (See Goal above, and check the Calendar for dates and times.)
  • Pending final discussion with Lodge Master, this class will only be required for members who are recently baptized and/or first time children, deacons and Priest/ess.--Misskim 20:16, 14 June 2008 (EDT)
  • Will discuss with Lodge Master and edit policy which will be distributed to all clergy either at the next clergy meeting or through email. --Misskim 18:26, 3 July 2008 (EDT)
  • Currently all members who are fulfilling an office in the mass have attended this class. In the future, only those beginning in the Novitiate program will be required to take the class.
  • Some mechanism for letting those not required to take the class aware of changes and updates seems necessary. Also, not everyone seems to be aware of all of the existing points. Perhaps a reminder to review the modules on occasion or when updates are made? – Jgbell 11:33, 4 September 2008 (GMT-8)
  • Will remind everyone of the class on Nov. 8 and suggest they either attend, or email me for documents on the policy for them to review. All clergy will be told at the Annual meeting that they will be responsible for this information. --Misskim 08:17, 1 October 2008 (PDT)
