T Omphalos

T Omphalos, a Bishop of the Gnostic Catholic Church, has been a member of Ordo Templi Orientis for 17 years and attributes much of his success in life to his study and application of the sacred formulas of initiation as expressed in the degrees of the Order. Forged by the initiated insight of his own experience, he has developed several programs for the Order and the Church which aim to educate and make possible the fulfillment of one's initiatory obligations.

A Past Master of Sangraal Lodge in the Valley of Trondheim, and a former member of the Executive of O.T.O. Norway, he continues to serve the Order locally, nationally and internationally in his capacity as a Sovereign Grand Inspector General VII° in accordance with his obligations and oaths.

Having studied Psychology, Sociology, and Comparative Religion, he has retained a lifelong interest in the history and sociology of religion in general and esoteric movements in particular. He was also instrumental in founding the Academia Masonica Borealis, an initiative that sought to collect, study, and publish articles on the history of the Order.

His life remains in service to the A∴A∴, to the promulgation and establishment of the Law of Thelema, and to his daughter.
