On Saturday, October 23rd, Sekhet-Maat Lodge will host Scott Wilde & Onyieh Jewel (from our Sister Lodge, Horizon Oasis) who will be presenting both beginner and advanced lectures on Enochian Magick. The schedule will be as follows.
- Enochian History Lecture from 12:30 to 1:30 pm (1 hour)
In this lecture we will cover the genealogy of the magical system given to John Dee and Edward Kelly from the angels. Known to modern practitioners as "Enochian", this system has been a heavy influence of western magic for more than 400 years. This lecture will cover the lives of John Dee and Edward Kelly and how they came to receive the system. We will also look into how it progressed after it left their hands.
- Working the 19th Call from 1:30 to 2:30 pm (1 hour)
In this lecture we will cover the use of the Call of the Thirty Aires also known as the 19th call, the source of Crowley’s The Vision and the Voice. Topics include the preparation for and performance of the ritual along with basic scrying techniques. Emphasis will be placed on getting meaningful results quickly and easily.
- Short Break from 2:30 to 2:45 pm (15 minutes)
- Liber Loagaeth from 2:45 to 5:00 pm (2 hours 15 minutes)

- An Angel to John Dee, May 5, 1583
Liber Loagaeth was one of the most mysterious works to come from John Dee and Edward Kelly's angelic communications. Books published on the topic of Enochian magic have mostly glossed over the dizzyingly complex tables of letters that compose this book. During this lecture we will use the tools of our art to examine a small section of one its 49 sheets, exploring its connections to the mandalas of the eastern mystics, the circles of magic of the western magicians and Thelema.
- Dinner Break from 5:00 to 7:30 pm (2 hours 30 minutes; dinner is not provided)
- Return Time from 7:30 to 8:00 pm (30 minutes)
- Enochian Group Ritual from 8:00 pm until the end of the working (doors will be locked prior before ritual begins)
To wrap up the afternoon of Enochian classes we’ll have the group scry the Aethyr of TEX focusing on the governor Dozinal. We’ll start with a banishing and 10 minutes of pranayama followed by the Invocation using the 19th call, recited in English once and three times in Enochian. We will then scry for 30 minutes with a follow up discussion of results. Please feel free to bring a robe along with a journal and pen to record your results.
